Hip Hop Candy is a small business, run by designer and crafter Olivia Bruno. This business began as a very small-scale hobby, born out of my love for cute things, crafting, Japanese culture, and the idea of purchasing hand-made and hand-designed items straight from the artist. Since 2008, we have expanded a lot, shipping out many orders weekly, selling our pieces and designs to many online and brick and mortar stores, and appearing at several major anime, manga, and pop culture conventions yearly.
♥Do you make and design everything all by yourself?
Yes! (mostly) All designs are created by myself, I manage the website myself, and I also personally handle the packaging and shipping of every order. Many products are handmade by me, while others are produced for me.
♥Where are you located? Do you have a physical store? Do you allow order pickup?
Hip Hop Candy manufactures in and ships from New York. At this time we do not have any physical locations our customers can enter.
Payments are handled by Paypal (www.paypal.com). If you don't have an account with Paypal, you can still pay with your credit card, debit card, or bank transfer through the Paypal checkout. Paypal is so easy and secure that it doesn't even share your credit card information with us.
♥I don't have Paypal or a credit card. Can I still buy something?
This is now easier than ever with out new layout. Yes! During the checkout process, simply select the "Money Order" option instead of the "PayPal" option. Follow the instructions to send check or money order. I will email you as soon as I receive the payment, and ship your order out the following day.
♥But I don't live in the United States. Can I still send a mail-in order?-
Sorry! At this time, we are only accepting mail-in orders from US residents. All international residents must pay by paypal. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Our necklace chains, bracelet chains, keyrings, and rings are made of silver-toned metal.They do contain nickel. Earrings and studs have hypo-allergenic surgical steel hooks. 1" button backings contain copper. It's advisable to take off your jewelry before sleeping, showering, swimming, or physical activity. Our charms are highly scratch-resistant and completely waterproof.
♥Are your T-Shirts machine washable? Will they fade, crack or peel?
Yes they are! And no! We use top quality digital and screen printing to produce our shirts.
♥Is it a good idea to buy items to give to my very small children? Can I use your bath products on children?
Probably not a good idea. If you want to use our bath items on a child, please make sure they are supervised by an adult at all times.
♥Are your bath and body products handmade?
Yes! Everything here is completely handmade by me. I take great pride in putting my personal care and attention into each one of my products. Nothing is mass-produced, everything is handmade by me specifically--I don't even hire out any help! I control every aspect of production--from the product itself to the design and application of the label, and the packaging of every order! I also ensure that no cosmetic I produce is kept for longer than three months, and many of my products I make in small batches at the beginning of every week, so you know that you are always getting the freshest available!
♥Are your products vegan?
Yes! With two exceptions. Lip balm and gloss products contain beeswax so they are not strictly vegan. In general, we try to avoid all animal products or by-products. We do not test on animals, nor do we buy raw materials that have a known history of animal testing.
♥How long are your cosmetics good for?
Any cosmetic, handmade or otherwise is best used within 6 months to 1 year.
♥I have an allergy to a food, herb, flower, plant, oil, or other product. What should I do?

♥My soap looks a little different than the picture!
All of my soaps are handmade, so they wilil vary slightly in color and design between each individual soap. They're truly one-of-a-kind!
♥What the heck is a bath fizzy?
A bath fizzie is a is a ridiculously fun product made of dry ingredients and moisturizing oils! When dropped into a tub of water, it will fizz and dissolve, creating bubbles and releasing baking soda (known for relieving skin irritation), moisturizing oils, glitter, mineral-rich sea salt, and wonderful fragrance that'll leave you feeling refreshed and smelling wonderful!

♥Where do you ship from?
New York, USA.
♥So how long is it going to take for me to get my items?
Orders will be shipped within 1-5 business days (Monday-Friday) of placing your order. For orders that are being shipped within the USA, it will take 3-7 business days to reach you. For orders shipped outside of the USA, it can take anywhere from 5-13 business days. It largely depends on your own country's Customs offices.
♥What postal service do you use to ship your items?
We use United States Postal Services First Class mail, unless the customer specifies otherwise. All international orders are shipped via United States Postal Services First Class Airmail.
♥Do you offer rush shipping?
Yes. We can ship USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days) for a fee, at your request. This is not recomended for non-US orders due to the high cost. Please send an email to misskitty@hh-candy.com
♥Can I buy insurance for the package?
Of course. If you want to buy insurance for the package, please send an email to misskitty@hh-candy.com. Orders $100 and over are insured for their worth on us ♥
♥Do you include a tracking number?
By default, we do not include a tracking number to give you the most cost-effective shipping method possible. If you are interested in tracking, email misskitty@hh-candy.com.
♥It's been over a month and I still haven't recieved my order, what can I do?
Although it's rare, no postal service is perfect and sometimes things get lost in the mail. Please email misskitty@hh-candy.com if you think there might be a problem.
♥My item was lost, stolen, damaged, or held up in customs. What can I do?
If your item was damaged, lost, or stolen, we will do our best to make it right with you. Please note that we can not be held responsible for packages held up in customs. Know your country's customs and shipping policies before you place an order. Additionally, we are not responsible for any additional taxes or fees incurred in the customs process.
♥How much does shipping cost?
Shipping depends upon the weight of your order, and the country it is being shipped to. Small items like jewelry will cost less to ship than candles or soaps.
